It’s Time to Celebrate! 夏日音乐庆典

The Summer Concert is becoming a tradition at YCIS Chongqing as a way to celebrate the end of the academic year. Last Friday, students and staff gathered in the school auditorium, to witness an auditory and visual feast!
每年期末，重庆耀中国际学校都会举办夏季音乐会，以庆祝这一学年的结束。6月10日，重庆耀中师生齐聚学校剧场，再一次共襄了听觉与视觉的盛宴!

Due to current restrictions, parents were unble to be on campus, but we were able to live stream the performances so that our parents had opportunity to be part of the celebration.  Well over a hundred parents logged on and watched the show.
虽然由于疫情的限制，家长们不能到校观看演出，但得益于学校的现场直播，当天有百余名家长们云端参与了这一场庆典。

“It’s Time to Celebrate!” was the theme of this year’s Summer Concert. The students have been working hard within their Music, Violin, and CCA Orchestra lessons in preparation for this wonderful showcase, it certainly was time to celebrate the students creative and artistic abilities.
“是时候庆祝了!” （“It’s Time to Celebrate!”），这是今年夏季音乐会的主题。一年以来，孩子们一直在努力学习音乐、小提琴，并积极参加管弦乐队的课外活动，为闪耀的舞台做准备，现在是时候展现他们的创造力和艺术能力了。

The show amazed everyone that attended. All of the students from Years 1 to Year 6 treated the audience to some wonderful performances as classes, small groups and individuals. Performances from school orchestral made for a perfect ending to the show!
一个小时的表演感动了在场的每一个人。从一年级到六年级，所有学生都以班级、小组或者个人表演的形式为观众带来了精彩的呈现。最后，学校管弦乐团的演奏为这场夏季音乐会画上了完美的句号。
